Employee Benefits Summary
HOLIDAYS
CMMHC observes 8 holidays. These 8 paid holidays are: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day,
July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving and
Christmas. If a holiday falls on a
Saturday—Friday will be the day off and if the holiday falls on a Sunday—Monday
will be the day off.
PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
PTO accrues on all regular hours worked and on a bi-weekly basis beginning with the first date of employment. For a full time employee, PTO accrual rates begin at 6.77 hours bi weekly for the first 2years. PTO rates cap at 248 hours (31 days) per year, 10 years and thereafter. The maximum amount of PTO that a full-time employee can accrue is 480 hours.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Effective 30 days after the beginning date of employment, coverage is provided for the employee for $20.00 per month through Medica. An optional flex plan and HSA are also offered. The cost of family coverage is borne by the employee.
DENTAL INSURANCE
Effective 30 days after the beginning date of employment, coverage through Guardian is provided free of charge for the employee only. The cost of family coverage is borne by the employee.
LIFE INSURANCE
Effective 30 days after the beginning date of employment. Term life insurance policy amount is 1 times salary up to a maximum of $50,000. Benefits are rounded up to nearest $1,000. This policy also includes accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage. Employees may also purchase additional life insurance coverage.
DISABILITY INSURANCE
Effective 30 days after the beginning date of employment, an employee will receive 60% of salary after a 90 day waiting period and certified as being disabled. Maximum benefit payable is $3,000 per month.
FUNERALS
Employees may use a maximum of 3 paid days for funerals of immediate family members (employee's spouse, children, parent, grandparent, grandchildren, siblings, mother-in-law and father-in-law).
RETIREMENT
On the first entry date (January 1 or July 1), after one year of employment, the agency pays 5.5% of employees annual salary with full vesting after six years of participation in the program. Employees can contribute immediately to the 403b program.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Funds are available subject to licensing requirements, skill enhancement needs or agency directive pending management/supervisory approval and funding availability.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
First 2 sessions provided are free of charge.
